![]() One way to check is to put a volt meter + on the selenoid and the - to ground. Have someone push the button in glove box and see if you've got voltage. If voltage is present - that tells you the fuse, button in glove box, and wiring works and the selenoid is
probabily bad. If no voltage check fuse, switch and wiring. To test button, take your meter again this time put in to ohms and put leads across the switch push the button in and you should read at zero or close to zero ohms. If you get no reading - that'll tell you the switch is bad. |
