First real race @ a red light.

The car on the side was a 79-83 Maverik. We were actually racing in the freeway earlier that day, and later that night i pulled into a gas station and he came over aswell. We were talking for a bit and he said he had a V6 300hp, 4spd, he said nothing major in it. Anyways, he was at the light reving his car like crazy, i just kept calm and was looking at the other light to see when it turned red. As it got to the yellow i started to get ready, once it hit green i launched without any wheel spin.

I think they stopped making Mavericks in the mid seventies, and I've never seen the yellow light come on before the green light unless your at a race track. Just an observation.
