I used to have the Zex, it's a clean little setup...
The answer to your question depends on whether you are going with the FRPP or 99-00 PI heads... You should be fine with the Zex if you're going the FRPP route, but if you're going with the PI heads, compression could be an issue. I would contact SD Wheeler about his head swap packge... he might have some compression ratios for you and alternatives if you want to put some boost on with the PI heads...
