Zetec doesn't really stand for anything. It's just what they decided to call it. It's kinda like the 351 Windsor motors, being called Windsor really has nothing to do with the engine it's self. Even though it was produced in the Windsor plant, it wasn't some acronym for some technical babble like the VVTI of Toyota or VTEC of Honda. It's just a gimmick.
By the way, if you look in this months issue with Nicole's car in it, my friend Tom's car is in there. 345 hp to the wheels, off the "NOS". Nice huh? Later.
