Can't confirm or deny it, but it seems unlikely to me. Just think, after going through the helix, the air spills into a plenum and then fills eight individual, long runners. Seems to me that any swirl filling effects would be long lost. I wouldn't mind seeing someone do a dyno before and after test just to see what happens, but I personally think there's better things to spend your money on. HP gains are overated 99.9% of the time in advertisements.
