![]() Opentrack guys started to move away from these.
Once upon a time, pads neede "degassing". The pads heated and would (lets just call it) "boil". The slots (or holes) allowed the gasses to bubble into the slot areas. Also it was a placee to clean the pads as they swiped by, like a windshield wiper... Most of the guys found many cracked (under SEVERE use). So noone seems to get these anymore IMOHO. At least guys I run with. [thats my story and I'm sticking to it] For a 4-lug 11" rotor, sure go ahead. You'll never get the pads (rotors) hot enough to make them glow red. Pads will fade to zero way before that (trust me, been there). I can get the 13" vented rotors hot enough to discolor them! ![]() ![]()
