				 | injector identification Perhaps somebody can help me ID some stuff. I bought mt 93 LX a few months ago, and it has had some work done by the previous owner. Since I bought it from a dealership, I have no idea what has actually been done to the car. Here is what I do know, it has a cobra intake, K&N conical filter, Paxton fuel regulator, 4.10 gears, tremec 5 speed and new exhaust front to back ( I did that myself ). I don't know if the throttle body and MAF are other than stock. Perhaps if I could figure out what injectors I have, that may clue me in to the other induction parts. The injectors are blue. any help will be appreciated.

				 | The stock 19 lb. injectors are orange. 24 lb. injectors are blue. More than likely , you have 24 lb. injectors. |

				 | Thanks Mach 1. I suppose it is a reasonable assumption that I have at least got a recalibrated MAF. There isn't any kind of markings on it that indicate who makes it. Same with the throttle body.

				 | Most aftermarket t-bodies have a # on them to signify the size. If there are no markings at all, I would assume it is stock....

				 | well, I had a bbk 70 mm TB, and a ford motorsport 65 mm TB, and niethier one had any markings to identify the size. Usually the EGR spacer is marked with the size, but you dont have an EGR spacer with the cobra intake. You can pull the TB off and measure the opening on the back side of it to give you a reasonably accurate idea of the size. Be careful not to trash the gasket though. I dont know where you could get a new gasket from locally if you have like a 70 mm TB? This brings up a question to everybody out there. Where do you get replacement gaskets for oversized TB's? Do you have to order them from summit? The MAF meter, if it is a PRo-m, will have electronics on top that appear to be factory, but if you look closely, you will see some scribe marks showing the calibration and some other info. The C&L MAF meters use the factory electronics, so if thats what it looks like, thats probably what you have. Can you post a pic? |

I was almost postive that all of the BBK units had the size and manufacturer stamped somewhere.... I stand corrected.

				 | I don't have any way to post a pic ( not yet anyway ). My MAF does use the factory electronics. It also uses the stock mount to the strut tower. I know some aftermarket MAF's come with a new bracket, but this one sure seems to be OEM. Can I just measure the bore? As far as the throttlebody goes, I'll just take a closer look. Either way, it looks like I got a good deal on this car considering all the goodies I don't need to buy
