Been there, done that and it is fun, even when you lose, just to have the run with the 'Classic' muscle cars. Most were lucky to do 13's back in the day but that was mostly due to weight (why big cubes were needed), terrible suspensions and skinny, bias-ply tires. No traction = higher et. Now, with modernized, upgraded suspensions, big, fat soft rubber and improved tuning those big babies can do 12's and often do, although the smaller-cubed cars are still usually 14-second beauties. |
