				 | Two years ago I rewired my fog lights as well only a slightly different way. I pulled the switched out by using a flat screw driver and cut the wires that leads to the fog lights. I then attached a new wire to the ground wire and used a steering column bolt to ground the switch. I then placed and inline fuse on the positive side and ran the other end of a wire directly to the fuse box. I used the fuse that would provide power to the fog lights. I can't remember but i think I used the one for convertable tops.? The fogs have worked fine ever since. I can operate the fog lights completely independent of all other lights including the driving lights if I want to. Just wanted to provide some info on what I did to solve the problem. Good luck!! |
