Where the speedo cable enters the output shaft housing on the tranny, you should just have to pull one bolt holding it in, pull the cable out, remove the C clip retaining the gear on, slide the gear off, slide the new gear on, slip the C clip back on, slide the cable back into the output shaft housing, and put the bolt back in. (Don't over torque the little bolt)
