Dumb clerks who know nothing about cars and systems, much less parts - and dumb customers who know little-to-nothing, either. Plenty of each to go around.

Dealing with either one is a recipe for disaster but you have to wonder what happens when a clueless clerk encounters a clueless customer at Auto Zone. They probably cancel each other out.
