I was just offering an alternate viewpoint.
 Besides, if cops want to be jerks, they're going to be jerks regardless of what measures the government is taking to eliminate street racing. If a state trooper in an unmarked car wants to pull me over because I took off from a stop sign, he's going to find an excuse to. But...that's why we have courts. Was I arguing for these laws? No. They do cause trouble for even us law-abiding enthusiasts. However, I don't drive in a way that will get me tossed in jail or get my license suspended. . . . . . . . . . . Most of the time. |
