Just my opinion - I would not spend $500 to go from 3.08 to 3.55, I would really feel like I wasted my money. I went from 3.08 to 4.10 (in a 5spd vert) and it is AWESOME. Not my daily driver, so maybe 3.73 for a daily driver, but no way 3.55.
Also, I have actually found it EASIER to launch with the 4.10's than 3.08, I don't have to rev the engine as much to get into the powerband as quickly. Just my exeperience...
