![]() You couldn't possibly make a worse choice for an intake on that car. If your car is stock then it is heavy and taking all that torque out of it is going to make it very slow.
Even if you do get heads you will most likely NOT turn over 6000 RPM on a regular basis which is what it is going to take to utilize that box. If you want a good long runner intake see if you can locate and extrude honed Cobra or and Edelbrock RPm..both will support up to 6500 RPM very easily on a 306. If you are stuck with the box for a while, throw a 1" phenolic spacer in between the upper and lower to get a little bit of runner length back.
