![]() i have a 2001 GT auto that i manualy shift went the tach reads 4900 i push to the next next gear. The computer will take about a half of second to catch up and the trans will shift at about 5800 (were peak hp is in a '01.) This should yield the best quarter mile times, it does for me. I only stall at 1800 rpms and pull 1.9-2.0 60ft times in street tires at 26psi. But that might not work for you. Look at your 60 foot times that will tell you how much tire spin you have if your 60 ft is above 2.3 or above than drop you launch rpm should be able to get it down to atleast 2.1
