Keep in mind, though that the Mustang's racing roots were in road racing. You can sell more vehicles when you can brag about them winning a 500 mile race, or a 12 hour race, then you can by bragging that they made it 1320 feet. Besides, Ford was never the best source for quarter mile racing parts.
When it comes to quarter mile racing, and the impact that Ford and the Mustang have had, and continue to have, those who need to know, do know, and those that don't would only be turned off by seeing it in their commercial. Take care, -Chris
