![]() If there is a way to do it, I haven't heard it. The stock ignition, as you know, has no ability to advance the timing without the ECM, and the ECM needs input from all of it's sensors to operate properly. If it has no injectors pulse width to control, it's not going to be able to control the richness of the exhaust, and would continue retarding the timeing until the engine quit running.
