![]() If you are using the Ford gears usually you can reuse the same shims. But you must check the back lash and gear pattern to be sure. Ford makes their gear sets accurately allowing easy assembly at the plant, that's why we can reuse exisiting shims in most cases. Be sure to properly tighten the crush collar and check everything twice.
If using other than the Ford gears you will neet to go through a complete gear set up. |
