A stall converter would help performance quite a bit, and so would a shift kit......but it you cant do the work yourself the installation charges add up quick.

My advice to you is, try to do most of the work yourself cause it will be a good learning experience. Surely you know someone thats knows there stuff and can help you.

You can find alot of good deals on e-bay. I have found some really good deals on there.

I put 3.73 gears in my car for a total cost of $79.00....bought them off ebay and installed them myself. (get someone that knows there stuff to help)

Off-road X-pipe for a total cost of $80.00...again E-bay and installed myself.

To be honest with you any 5.0 will out run 90% of imports bone stock.
