Hook it up, we'll see what happens. To address a different post, I have no idea what has been done to the internals on the 87GT. I got it with 113k on the clock a couple years ago. I've never even had the upper intake off. It could be a ported/polished stock upper, with GT40 heads and 1.7's for all I know. I've just never even taken the time to look. I do know it had the stock headers on it, and most people will upgrade those before just about anything else (not that it's required).
I should really look at it for real. I had the headers off and I was going to swap some aftermarket pieces on, but I had fitment trouble big time. I didn't notice the ports being large or anything. |
