Ranger with a 351

I've had my car for a month now and haven't had a race until tonight. Me and my brother had gone through Wendy's drive thru for some grub and found a nice parking lot to sit in and watch cars go up and down our booming main drag(yeah right). We finished up eating and I start the car. A guy in a two wheel drive Ranger drives passed and guns it squeeling the tires. Hmmm...we pull out and follow him. He slows down and I get up next to him. We are rolling at about 25-30mph and we gun it. We are pretty even until I hit my power band and I pull hard on him. Being on the main drag we dont get too out of hand. We run two more times and I pull ahead each time. I pull over and we talk with him and he shows us the motor. A stock 351 stuffed under the hood. He was pretty cool. I think he was expecting to whoop on me though. He said he has beaten a few 5.0's with it. I was just pumped that I had beaten a little truck with a 351 in it!

First race of the year and I win

Now for some rice...
