The BBK Lt's are popular in my club, www.midwestfords.org , mostly because they are inexpensive and have the single piece flange. If money is no object I think Bassani makes a set of step headers that are supposed to be very nice and I think Hooker makes a nice set too, but I never really looked into them because it's too $$$ for me. On the other hand I just bought a set of the chrome BBK LTs and have a leak on the driver side header that I can't seem to find. Had the same problem with the shorties I bought 3 years ago, ended up being a mnfr flaw, the flanges were tweaked. Not sure what the problem is now, but I've had problems with the quality of BBK in the past so I'm a little pissed off. Just a long way to say that you get what you pay for. I've heard nothing good about the Macs, eveyone I know that has them is going to the BBKs and hates the Macs.

My advice would be to spend your money making the car hook up better, your mph indicates at least high 11 quarter mile times, yet your running 12.48, and your happy about it! Hook the car up and you will be even happier, I feel better headers and such will slow you down because of the increase in power, which you dont seem to be able to utilize as it is.

No flames intended, I don't know your car well at all, but going by the numbers YOU NEED TRACTION!!!!!!!! not more power. ![]()

gtsr515 makes a good point, what were your 60ft times and what kinda tire were you running?

That is some impressive power coming out of that combo. But I dont think you'll see much gain at all going to a performer intake over the GT40. If you want to stay with edelbrock, then go for the Performer RPM. The holley systemax would be another good choice nice times though by the way -Drew

![]() Bump the boost on that thing, get a better intake and some slicks and you'll be headed for low 11's
