Your car also has the wiring for the convertable top, whether you have a convertable or not. One of the wires is a constant power whereas the stock wiring for the fog lights only work when your lights are on. If you cut the constant from the convertable harness and use it to replace the one in the fog light harness, you will be able to turn them on/off as you please. I cant remember the exact wire colors but ill look into it
