Agree with PKRWUD on this one. No real advantage to the MSD box if you're near stock. Just get good plug wires, keep the plugs, cap & rotor fresh and you'll be fine. I have a near-stock 5.0 and the only ignition 'mods' I've done are the above (Taylor Spiral-Pro wires). I did replace the stock coil with a Crane PS-91 (at about 90,000 miles) just as a maintenance issue. Runs great. |
