The 99 up GTs will only go just past 150mph before the COMPUTER cuts the fuel... bummer cause the stang would pull more. Unfortunately, the Mustang is not too friendly with aerodynamics past 150mph

I was coming back from LAs Vegas once, racing a WRX in yellow for almost 100 miles along the highway...very little traffic and very late at night. We would pull up beside eachother both going about 85, then we would floor it to see who could first get to the next batch of traffic. He would get up to about 135 or so then i think his computer cut his fuel...or he was too weak to go faster. I jammed the stick in 5th to get my stang all the way up to 150, thats right! and right about then the governor (computer) would kick in and slow me down. Oh well... this 4.6 sure does pull!
