Benchmarking
Mustangs have long been the benchmark of real performance. That's why Chevy built the Camaro, Olds the 442, Ponitac GTO, etc. Mustang outlasted them all (The GTO's coming back though!
 )Anyway, people try to beat things they know are fast. You ever race the fat kid in school? No. You race the, well, FAST kid. It's that simple. El loco Caballo was a semen, er Seaman, er, in the Navy.  Sorry Crazy, it just makes me laugh everytime I make that joke.
