Thumbs up

1995 MGTS, your blower should be fine. The new model you have has had the internal tensioner removed and the belt shortened. As a result of no tensioner, the insides of the new blowers have been lightened. I just unscrewed my tensioner, chucked it in the trash, and bought a shorter belt. Works great. Also, the only reason the belts break are due to the sudden strain of clutch dumping drops. The impeller RPM goes from 60,000RPM to 33,000 Rpm in no seconds flat.
