If you hit the rev limiter it could be bad but probably would not hurt anything if you have a pressure safety switch that will cut off the flow of nitrous as soon as the fuel pressure drops.

The fuel pump is cut off at 6250 and the injectors are cut off at 6450, so you would have no fuel pressure and no nitrous running through the motor.

If you do not have the safety switch it would be a good idea to get one or it will probably grenade your motor.
