![]() Yes it will definitely go into your car. I had a 429 in a '79 mustang a few years ago. When I did my conversion there wasn't much out there for kits so I had to custom build headers, motor mounts, and modify quite a few other things. I also had a c-6 with a smooth, unribbed bellhousing( i'm not sure what it came out of )for clearance, and a 9 inch out of a lincoln versaille w/disc brakes.It worked out well and there was a surprising amount of room on either side. I also had to run manual brakes as there was no room for a booster, but i think an '86 & up booster will work, as they are smaller.
There are now kits available to do this swap but i am not sure from where. ------------------ B.R. L.X. 5.0 coupe Cruise control,power mirrors,...and Thats it! |
