Hmmmmm. Thats a new one to me. Go down and check it out for yourself. I've seen many a 302's and 289, worked on a many of them and never had a problem like that.
I've had plenty of timing cover and water pump bolts break before, especially on the ol 289's but nothings ever been fused to anything. Sounds strange to me. [This message has been edited by Mercury (edited 05-15-2001).] |
