![]() I just finished my heads about a month ago. Do a search on this site and others on home porting. I basically got all the information I needed from these messageboards. I paid the monthly fee on fordmuscle.com to have their porting article as a reference. It is a very good article and the site has lots of other good stuff too. For $25 for the heads, it might be worth looking into. However, it is a lot of work to port the heads and make all the other changes you'll need to go along with the increased airflow. Don't get in a big hurry, to do it right will take several hours. According to the horspower calculator using my old times compared to my new times, I went from 262 to 305hp. This included a valve job with trick flow springs, gt-40 intake (lower ported), 70mm TB, new cam, 190lph fuel pump, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I did everything except the valve job. The car runs great now, but it took a lot of my time the last few months. It cut into my golf game quite a bit. Hopefully, my next big project will not be unexpected and can be done over the winter.
