![]() Fuel tanks expand slightly from usage. That's why you can get more than 6 gallons into a 6 gallon gas can.
You may have a bad temp sensor. Is your car warming up on the gauge when you drive? The O2 sensors as earlier mentioned could be a problem. I have NEVER EVER gotten worse than 16mpg with my 87GT. Driving like a bat outta hell and in stop and go all week I've only recorded 16 once. That's in winter, in MN. Accelerate fairly quickly, shift at 3000rpms, and don't use OD when you are travelling under 55-60mph. |
