I was getting about 13-13.5 mpg since Oct. (when I bought the car) and when I got the gears done and finally did a tune up, I now get 19 mpg (yes, corrected, not old 3.08 speedo reading). I should have done the tune up long ago! It had Bosch Platinums and now I have Autolite 24's and also got rid of the generico plug wires and got the MSD's.
