I feel your pain. I'm going through the same thing. I can't push it past part throttle or my stang sounds like I drove it into a pool. I can't even race the honda's over here in Miami and I have a 12 second car. What I noticed was that my fuel pressure gauge pulses between 38 & 44 psi while I'm idling. It never did this before. If I adjust the fuel pressure in any direction the pulsing will stop temporarily but will return to pulsing once I drive the car.
I would suspect a head gasket leak but I don't have any unusual water loss. You never know. I always run on the rich side and it smells like I do also. I bought a new TPS and I cleaned my EGR with short lived results. Please Please Please, if you find out what let me know. I'm going to start a thread as well. Good luck. |
