Default it's not good to leak coolant

When I got my car the coolent leaked too. Mine was a simple fix. I just checked all the hoses and the hose going from the bottom of the overflow tank to the radiator cap was severed. It was only $3 for a new hose. You may want to check the other hoses too. The top and the bottom hoses going into the radiator were only $30 to replace the both of them, plus now they have a lifetime warranty on them. You may also want to replace the clamps that hold the hoses on, mine were old and rusted. Take care, Keith
