I put in 3:73's and the 8.8 rear end last year...i didnt notice much difference in gas mileage. BUt at that time i still had the blower installed, so i was getting somewhere around 19-22 mpg in Chicago. I'd say go for them, i almost got the 3.55's, but am really happy with the 3:73's...unfortunatley, this fall, they are coming off and getting sold for money. By this time next summer my V6 will be bone stock again...after running low 14's
