I accept that using Japanese econocars as 'Hot Rods' is becoming common and yes, I know some of them are fast, yada yada yada, but most are all show and no go and even when they dumped ten thousand dollars into this Civic it still looks like crap and runs right up there with a stock, 200,000 mile 1987 5.0 Mustang that needs a ring job.

'new' hot rod that ain't no new hot rod. the car may not of had the over sized wing but that thing still looked lame. i haven't ever seen a civic keep up or beat a 5.0, 4.6 mustang yet and i probably won't. i have a friend that owns a civic and he laughed his *** off cause even he said that the civic can't compare to the mustangs for speed or power and he thinks that guy is off his rocker.
