Default Car information

My car is a mostly stock 91 coupe. I have just plain old radial tires on it and it is a 5 speed. When launching, should I rev it up and drop the clutch or try to feather the clutch out of first to prevent spinning the tires? I know that on the street if I don't feather the clutch I spin all the way through 1st . .. .
