I was reading though the post and one thing that I noticed you said that you had a brand new rad and a new engine but you still got rust in the radiator. One thing that can cause overheating and rust is your heater core you might want to get that checked out becuase if its pugged or even partially plugged it can give you all kinds of troubles.
