I bought mine bare. You can get oem valves for $75 (PAW), or manley race flows for $195 (summit).

The crane 2030 is a great street cam, and matches the 1.6 rockers. (216/220,112lsa,.533/.544).

Larger LSA = broader torque band
mild/moderate duration = good cylinder pressure, idle, & low end
high lift = good flow (heads will flow to .600", so don't let anyone tell you it's not necessary).
split duration = helps out the exhaust... may not be necessary with porting, but I think it's generally good with cats.
Price = $210 for the kit (including springs, retainers, etc.).

For a little more money, a mild comp cam extreme grind would be great. They have lots of lift, yet a relatively small advertised duration... so good flow, pressure, etc... If budget is a concern, I think the extra money would be better spent in head work though.

Also, you could get a dremel (what I did), and do some mild cleanup yourself. There's a really good home port article on www.fordmuscle.com

I agree, the 70 mm TB would trade off some low end for the top end... probably not worth it. You might consider a pro-M bullet 75mm... I've seen them advertised for $180.
