![]() The alignment could definitely be a factor. Sometimes a wheel out of balance can cause some bad vibrations and noise at certain speeds, but probably not just while braking or turning right.
I also have a '79 Pace Car replica. Does yours have the 302 or the turbo 4? Mine was pitifully slow with the stock 302 and 2.47 gears- high 16s in the 1/4 mile with those 130 mean horses. I've got the whole Edelbrock Performer setup and true dual exhaust now with 3.08 Trac-lok and it runs solid 13s on street tires.
