There was a long dissusion on that in one of the other forum's... Was kinda 2 guy's saying that it increased timing ,other said it made the car run richer..But most said they could tell the diff. Best way is to install a potentiometer(maybe not spelled correctly) ,with it you can adjust the amount of ohm's of resistance to see what is better or just adjust back to zero ....Some said mileage was alot worse
