A tune up is definitely in call for this situation. You can find a tech doc on the setting of the TPS on this site. It is relatively the same for Mass Air cars across years and maybe your fix. You will want to do all of the standard tune up items.
All fluids
Plugs Wires Rotor and Cap
TPS voltage and reset of the computer
Breather Element
You may try a fuel treatment, but I have mixed feelings on the true worth of such products.

Try that, if you still have problems post again and you will be ready to get advice for the second round. Computer Codes!!!
