well, once you figure a horspower, it not too hard to get thet injector right. There is some room for error. Most engines run at about .5 pound of fuel per hp. so 400 hp would need 200 pounds per hour of fuel, or 25 pounds each injector. But you don't want to run the injector full open, just about a 80% duty cycle. So for this example it works out to 31.25 pound injectors.
400 X .5 = 200 200 / 8 = 25 200 / .8 = 250 ( duty cycle) 250 / 8 = 31.25 ( each inj) Or you can play with the injector sizing calc. on this site. Its under "analyzer" on the far right on top.
