![]() I think the jl audio w-6 is equivalent to a solobaric, with the solobaric being somewhat tighter sounding. A w-6 is definitely louder than a kicker comp. Although, I don't know where your going to get a w-6, they stopped making them over a year ago. Soon the w-7 will be out but it is going to cost like 2-3 times what a w-6 costed.
Also if you're only going with a 10" and are not satisfied by the stock mach system, perhaps you should go with a ported box. JL subs work very well with a port and you get an extra 3db which translates into the equivalent of having a second 10" sub.
