![]() There were 74 in my graduating class and we had a stoplight too. I went to 4H camp in the summers, as a kid. We had grape vines and blueberry bushes. We went everywhere barefooted in the summer. I stopped many a night and took a leak on the side of the road.. after 11pm there is no traffic to speak of... I couldn't take a walk without every other car stopping to ask if I needed a ride(that was nice). Everyone in our little town waved when we passed and if they didn't then we knew they were either new or passing through. We left the keys in the car, the windows open and the doors to the house where never locked. I carried an outboard down to 'the landing' to clam and oyster for extra money. I chopped wood in the summer so I could stay warm in the winter. I've gotten 'lucky' in a corn field more than once. I still have to drive around tractors on the hwy but.. things just aren't quite like they ust to be.
