I'M LOOKING TO GET NEW MUFFLERS FOR MY STANG (ONCE IT RUNS AGAIN) AND A NEW EXHAUST FOR MY TRUCK. HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THE FLOWTECH WARLOCK MUFFLERS? HOW DO THEY SOUND ON A STANG? HOW ABOUT THE 1 CHAMBER FLOWS ON A STANG? ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED.

1 chamber flows on a stang would be WAY too loud. You will want to take them off after a few miles. I have never heard the warlocks, but the removable cap looks cool.

I've thought about getting the warlocks before but I've never heard them either. Be cool if you could post a soundclip if you decided to go with them.

For what it's worth, a kid here in town is running those. I think they sound awsome! He doesn't have anything out the back though, no turndowns or anything. He is also running an X-pipe.

You say way too loud, but this car won't be a daily driver. It'll be a race car with the every once in a while cruise, so the shock factor of the extreme loudness is kind of what I am looking for. Even though the 1 chambers will be deafening, you have to wonder about the warlocks because of the removable cap that provides a straight through muffler. The only problem I have is I can't find anyone that sells the warlocks, and you can't order direct from holley.

RPM427 - I don't know how they sound as far as quality, but, they advertise that on a chevy truck with a 350, that they produced either 90 or 95 decibals, I can't remember, somewhere around 2500 rpm, I think, at 50 ft away. That is pretty ****ing loud.

Hmmmm, that seems to loud for me, I have mac mufflers and my car is very loud at higher RPM. I can't rev it past 3000 while I'm in town, otherwise I get tailed by a cop for a while.

They are loud as @#%$ WFO. Around town, quiet as a church mouse. I have turn downs, I like loud. I live where it is not a problem. My picture will be on the web site soon. I AM the ONE who tested them for performance. I will tell the gains if you all promise not to accuse me of lying. I had two chamber flowmasters before. And you can offer free mufflers of any brand. I would rather pay for QUICKFLOWS. In a matter of time you will start seeing them every where.

It sounds like you're going for a really loud sound. I got the Flowtech Stinger cat-back which has the warlock mufflers without the removable cap. It's about as loud as a 3 chamber Flowmaster, but with a different sound. Flowmasters tend to have more of a resonant sound, whereas the warlocks i have have a sharper, crisper sound to them (awesome at WOT).

Also the exhaust is quiet enough when cruising that it doesn't give me a headache or make my ears start to bleed. A friend of mine with an almost identical setup has 2 chambers with an offroad and to me that's REALLY loud. Constant drone, but the sound is really nice.

I have been using AeroChambers since 95 and I love them. It seems to be the best kept secret I think. I first experienced AeroChambers on a 10sec Chevelle. When I bought my 92Hatch last year I threw on a set with turn downs, off road H pipe and it does not sound like a typical 5.0 mustang at all. It sounds like something that turns heads, and it does!!! The mufflers have a unique aggressive sound to them, especially with the 331. As far as the MAC's I also have a set of those and I love them. They do have a slight slappy sound to them around 2500 mark but I love the torque they make using them. Those are the only 2 I have delt with. Now my 2 cents with Flowmaster...My opinion is this, if you like a loud coke can under your car then thats your decision. LOL

I have the Flowtech Afterburners, same as the Warlock but without the removeable cap. They are loud but then again I don't have tailpipes or dumps yet. They sound awesome.

I'm planning to get a sportsman 408 shortblock and send my heads out to be redone by Bennett racing next year. That thing is going to be VERY loud with the mufflers I got on it now. Any suggestions on mufflers that will do a better job "muffling" the sound without giving up horsepower?

bald old guy 90gt - I currently have the 2 chamber flows, and they do sound decent, but they sound too typical. I am looking for a unique sound.

I hear the Bassani catback, coupled with the bassani X-pipe sound wicked. Has anyone ever heard them? I'm not really looking for a massive performance enhancing muffler, hence the flowmasters I have now, but more one to give it a unique and wicked sound.
