OK fine,
I agree that the '89 is the best in the years you are looking at. I would think that a vert for less than $5K wouldn't be in great shape. The verts are more expensive and sometimes hard to find in good shape.
I would personnaly go with the LX model, just personal preference. You really have to make the decision yourself. I think tireburner gave you some great info. Think about what he wrote and decide what you want.
