![]() The stock system uses the coolant lines though the TB to cool the air from the EGR. The coolant (even at operating temp) is still cooler then the air the EGR recirlculates though the intake. I would run the coolant lines if it were my car. If it were a drag car and you had no emissions and removed the EGR and all that junk, then I don't see a need to run the coolant lines through the TB.
