First of all when you build you box, make sure the use liquid nails(or simmlar) to hold it together. And use silicone to seal it up good, so there are not air leaks. Push in the cone of the sub, it should take at least 5 seconds for it to come back out. If it pops right back out you have a air leak.

You don't have to have exactly 2 cubic feet for those Kickers. Min. sealed volume is 1 cubic foot and Max is 2.4 cubic feet. You can build you box anywhere between that range.

BTW ditch that amp. You can pick up a JBL BP300x1 from Scala1 on e-bay for 132.95
